Location & Dates
Healthy Living Expo West will be held on August 20th & 21st,
2011
at the
Nevada Exhibition Center. This 44,000 square foot
exhibit hall is located on the lower level of the
Grand
Sierra Resort & Convention Center in Reno, Nevada.
Promotion
Healthy Living Expo West will be widely publicized and
advertised on Radio, Television, Magazines, Newspapers and
Billboards to
attract thousands of consumers and business owners from
throughout the region to attend the show.
Exhibitors will have the opportunity to cross-promote the
show along with their products and services with reciprocal
web links on the Expo web site at no extra charge. Contact
us for details. Also, exhibitors will receive a free listing
in the Show Guide, to be published by Healthy Beginnings
Magazine, which is distributed throughout the region.

Note: Hall will open at 8:00 am on Saturday for exhibitors
only. Exhibitors should have their booth completely set up
before the show opens at 10 am. Tear-down should not begin
until the show closes at 4 pm on Sunday.
Ticket Sales and Show Passes
Admission is only $5 per person. Public ticket sales begin a
half hour before the show opens each day.
Exhibitors will be given 4 Exhibitor Passes, 10 Free VIP
Passes, and 25 “Two-for-One” Discount Coupons. Only persons with Exhibitor Passes will be allowed in
the exhibit hall during Set-Up and
Move-Out.
Booth Sizes and Rates
Book
early and save! You save $100 if your
reservation and deposit are received before 6/1/11. Booths
will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so
book early to get the best space available!

Note: All booth rental fees include a complete basic
furnishings package, with draped table, chairs, wastebasket,
sign and carpet. For details, see the Furnishings section
below.
Standard In-Line Booths are 8-feet deep and 10-feet wide.
In-Line booths are available in multiples of 10-foot widths
(8x10, 8x20, 8x30, etc). Standard In-Line booth rental fees
are $695 each.
Premium Spaces are corner spots that face the front row and
entrance area (marked with * on
the floorplan.) Add $100 to the booth
rental fee for each premium space.
Walk-Thru Booths include 2 or 3 booths from one row plus the
corresponding booths from the row behind, as well as the
2-foot space between the rows, resulting in an 18-foot
depth, exposing your booth to two aisles. (For example, a
4-unit Walk-Thru booth would be 20' wide and 18’ deep.) Add
$50 per unit for a Walk-Thru booth (ie $200 premium for a
4-unit Walk-Thru). Note: A Walk-Thru booth may include a 2-foot column.

8’ x 10’ booth rental package includes the following:

Note: The entire exhibit hall is carpeted in a multi-colored
patterned carpet, so it is not necessary to rent carpet for
your booth unless you require a special solid color carpet.
If
you need additional furnishings or labor, they will be
available from Freeman Decorating, who will send you an
exhibitor packet outlining your options. Electricity is
not included in the booth price but may be obtained from
Freeman. To contact Freeman for an estimate, call (775)

For
applications received before 5/1/11, a 50% deposit is
required with the application, and the balance is due by
6/1/11. Reservations received after 5/1/11
require a payment of 100% of the
fee with the application.
Book/Media Signings and Speakers
To
improve traffic flow, a special area will be provided for
signing books, DVD’s, CD’s, etc., and for speakers. If
you would like to reserve a time for a signing or speaker,
please contact the Expo staff as soon as possible to make
arrangements.
Hotel Accommodations
A special
discounted room rate will be available
at the
Grand Sierra Resort for Expo exhibitors and
attendees. To get this rate, call the
Grand Sierra Resort at 800-501-2651
before July 20, 2011 and tell them you are attending Healthy Living Expo West.
Special room rates are based on availability, so book early! (Note: An early departure fee
may apply if you leave early, so if your departure date
changes, notify the hotel prior to check-in.)
The hotel offers free parking
and a free airport shuttle bus. The exhibit hall is conveniently
located on the lower level of the hotel property.
Selling and Permits
Because the Expo is open to both the trade and the public,
it’s not only a great opportunity to show your products and
services, and get your message to thousands of people --
face to face -- but it’s also a great chance to make money!
Give demonstrations, hand out samples…or SELL your products
directly at the show. The choice is yours!
If
you plan to make retail sales at the show, we can facilitate
getting a temporary Reno business license and Nevada sales
tax ID if you don’t already have them. You will be required
to report all retail sales before you leave the show on a
form that will provided to all exhibitors. It is the
responsibility of each exhibitor to pay applicable sales tax
on retail sales before leaving the show.
Pre-packaged samples can be distributed at the show, but if
you will be preparing food, notify us in advance, as permits
from the health department and fire marshal may be
required.
